The Brief
Fourteen frames suspended in a Sudanese reef, lit by shafts from the surface.
The Approach
Cream linen, weightless motion, a coral reef that did its own staging. Each frame was built around a single foreground to shoot through — a sea fan, a staghorn, a coral overhang, a column of rising bubbles. The stillness is all in the drift.
This began with stillness.
